City Lights

Hey guys! This week, the college was able to get a grant from the French government in order to host Marymount’s very own Tournees Film Festival! In the next few weeks, there will be viewings for films such as Potiche (translates to Trophy Wife), Copie Conforme (translates to Certified Copy), and even a new look at Sleeping Beauty. I was able to see the first film on the list, Potiche, which was a very campy yet deep feminist film taking place in 1977, by a Tournee Festival favorite directer, Francois Ozon. It was so good! I can’t wait to see how the other movies are.
